Wood Radios

Wood radio cabinets first appeared in the late 1920's and were designed to be aesthetically pleasing with speaker cut outs and a polished appearance.

Table top wood radios were manufactured in many forms and included cathedral-styles (late 1920's and early 1930's), tombstone designs (1930's) and many rectangular shapes (1930's to 1950s).
