Manufactured from 1962 to 1969, the attractive Eddystone 940 single conversion receiver has 13 valves. This was one of Eddystone's last valve receivers. The famous large linear slow motion tuning dial has an impressive solid and smooth feel and remains one of the finest of any receiver that I have been fortunate to operate.
This 940 was kindly donated by fellow dxer John Plimmer.
