Manufactured by Philips U.S.A. (possibly in 1946), the 663VN was built to operate from a 6 volt accumulator (car battery).

Hi. Could you possibly email me a close-up quality photo of the dial of this radio please? I'm trying to make a passive speaker, and it would look great if I could cover it in a print-off of the dial, as it shows all the exotic places I used to see on old radios of my childhood.

ReplyDeleteI have the exact same philips i am trying to restore. The speaker wires are disconnected. (Red, Green, Black). I just wanted to kow if anyone knows the sequince they connect to the speaker transformer.
